Order $2 Chocolatiers at a discounted price and then sell them at full retail. The difference is your profit.
Do you offer pricing discounts?
Yes, we offer volume discounts. For more information, see our 'Case Pricing' table at the top of the page.
How long is the fundraiser?
We recommend giving your sellers one week to sell their product allocation and turn in the money.
TIP: Use a tracking sheet to ensure timely and accurate money turn-in.
How much should I order?
The size of your order depends on the number of participants in your group and how many candy bars you want them to sell. Since $2 Chocolatiers orders ship four inner carriers to the case, consider issuing one carrier to each seller.
To determine how many cases to order, divide the number of participants in your group by 4. Round up to the following case number if needed.
You can also use our 'Profit Calculator' at the top of the page.
Do you take back unsold products?
We do not accept returns. We aim to maintain the same high level of product freshness for every customer. The USDA also has stringent guidelines that we must adhere to.
TIP: Consider issuing unsold candy bars to participants who volunteer to sell them in exchange for a portion of the profit. This way, you will maximize your profits as much as possible.
Can participants earn prizes?
We don't offer any prize programs with our $2 Chocolatiers candy bar fundraiser.
Product Information
How much do candy bars sell for?
We suggest selling our candy bars for $2.00 each.
How many candy bars per case?
120. Each case contains four inner carriers of 30.
What is the size of a candy bar?
Wrapped $2 candy bars are 5¾" long x 1¾" wide and weigh 2.25 oz. Compared to the $1 bar, the $2 bar is wider and thicker.
Do your candy bars come in breakable sections?
Our candy bars are divided into breakable sections called pips, which make them easier to break into bite-sized pieces to enjoy and share. All candy bars are wrapped in foil with an outer sleeve, which helps to preserve the chocolate by protecting it from air, light, and moisture.
How long do candy bars stay fresh?
Unopened candy bars have an 18-month shelf life.
Are candy bars kosher?
Our candy bars are peanut-free, gluten-free, and kosher.
Are candy bars peanut-free?
Only candy bars manufactured in a 100% peanut-free facility can carry a "peanut-free" label. $2 Chocolatiers Candy Bars are peanut-free.
This area is completely closed off from the rest of the plant. Only authorized personnel are allowed in this area. We examine samples of each production lot for traces of peanuts.
The peanut-free zone uses equipment not used for any other process. Only peanut-free zone employees work in this area. They are never transferred to the regular factory or have access to it.
Our facility is 'peanut-free certified' and is regularly inspected by government agencies.
Are candy bars nut-free?
According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, 7.6% of children have food allergies, 2.2% are allergic to peanuts, and 1.2% to peanuts and nuts. The percentage of children with peanut allergies has tripled in the last ten years alone. Only about 20 percent of children with peanut allergy outgrow it over time, so it is usually lifelong.
Peanuts, part of a different plant family called legumes, grow underground and differ from tree nuts, such as almonds, cashews, pistachios, walnuts, and pecans, which grow on trees. However, about 40% of children with tree nut allergies are allergic to peanuts.
While our Caramel, Milk Chocolate, and Crispy Rice bars do not contain nuts as an ingredient, they are not tree-nut-free, only peanut-free. The reason is that we manufacture our candy bars in a facility that processes other tree nuts. Only products manufactured in a 100% peanut-free facility can carry a "peanut-free" label.
Why peanut-free candy bars?
Unfortunately, peanut and nut allergies are common. Severe allergic reactions and potentially life-threatening risks are all too common. In response, school districts nationwide are starting to enforce peanut-free policies.
Those who are allergic should avoid foods containing peanuts and peanut byproducts. This includes anything with a warning that it "may contain" or "may contain traces of" peanut. Only products manufactured in a peanut-free facility can carry a peanut-free label.
Making Sales
Is there a minimum order?
There is a 1-case minimum order requirement.
How much money can we make?
Estimating your profit is easy. Consider the following example.
A sponsor with 27 participants wants everyone to sell one inner carrier each (30 candy bars):
- 27 participants x 1 carrier / participant = 27 carriers
- 27 carriers x 30 candy bars / carrier = 810 candy bars
- 810 candy bars x $2.00 / candy bar = $1,620.00 gross sales
- $1,620.00 x 50% profit = $810.00 profit
The profit percentage would be 50% because you must order 7 cases. See the 'Case Pricing' table at the top of this page. (Volume discounts apply):
- 27 participants x 1 carrier / participant = 27 carriers
- 27 carriers ÷ 4 carriers / case = 6.75 cases (Roundup)
QUICK TIP: Scroll up, click the 'Calculate Your Profit' button, and enter your group size and participant goal.
