How does a tumbler fundraiser work?

Your group profits when participants sell Cork Bottom Tumblers to friends and family.

How do we pay?

Since the product is ordered upfront, you have the following payment options:

  • Purchase order: If you're a public school, you can order without paying up front. A purchase order is a legally binding document between your group and us. Payment is due within 15 days of receipt of the product, giving you time to collect enough money to pay your bill. You then keep the rest as profit.
  • Credit card: We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.
  • Direct Deposit: You must provide your bank routing and account numbers. We will send you a form via a secure, encrypted email to complete, sign, and return. Contact us

How soon can we start?

Cork Bottom Tumblers ship within ten business days after the artwork is approved.

How long is the fundraiser?

We recommend giving your sellers one week to sell their tumbler allocation and turn in the money.

TIP: Use a tracking sheet to ensure timely and accurate money turn-in.

How much should I order?

The size of your order depends on the number of participants in your group and how many tumblers you need to sell. Since Cork Bottom Tumblers come 20 in a case, consider issuing 5 to each seller.

To determine how many cases to order, divide the number of participants in your group by 4. Round up to the following case number if needed.

Do you take back unsold products?

We do not accept returns.

TIP: Consider issuing unsold tumblers to participants who volunteer to sell them in exchange for a portion of the profit. This way, you will maximize your profits as much as possible.

Can participants earn prizes?

We don't offer any prize programs with our Cork Bottom Tumbler fundraiser.

How much do tumblers sell for?

We suggest selling Cork Bottom Tumblers for $30 each.

How large are tumblers?

Cork Bottom Tumblers hold 20 oz each. They are 81/2 inches high and have a top diameter of 31/2 inches.

How many tumblers are in a case?

Each case contains 20 Cork Bottom Tumblers.

Are the tumblers thermally insulated?

Yes. Cork Bottom Tumblers are designed to keep liquid hot or cold for an extended period. They are double-walled, vacuum-insulated, and have a slide-close lock lid.

What is the quality?

Cork Bottom Tumblers are kitchen-grade 18/8 premium-grade stainless steel. They are made from 16%-18% chromium and 8%-10% nickel, the top quality industry standards. Both metals add strength to steel, while nickel improves its resistance to corrosion.

The lids are clear and slide to open and close.

Do we get to choose our tumbler logo?

Yes. Before submitting the design form, you can upload your logo.

How large is our logo on the tumbler?

To maximize impact, we'll do a two-sided or wrap-around design. The graphic area is 3" x3".

What are our logo color options?

Our Cork Bottom Tumbler is available in one color option and can only be laser etched. Etching into the tumbler reveals the silver logo.

Can individuals personalize their tumblers?

No, individuals cannot personalize a tumbler. For example, someone cannot add their name or jersey number to a single tumbler.

Are the tumblers dishwasher safe?

We do not recommend placing our tumblers in the microwave or dishwasher. A care card is placed inside each tumbler, and it's suggested that they be hand-washed instead.

How is our logo applied to our custom tumbler?

For laser-etched designs, every stainless steel tumbler is coated with a color, such as red or white. The laser follows a design path to etch away the color applied over the raw silver steel, leaving the logo design behind. The silver color will then show through where the logo was engraved.

Making Sales

Is there a minimum order?

There is a 2-case minimum order requirement.

How much money can we make?

Estimating your profit is easy. Consider the following example.

A sponsor with 55 participants wants everyone to sell five tumblers:

  1. 55 participants x 5 tumblers / participant = 275 tumblers
  2. 275 tumblers ÷ 20 tumblers / case = 13.75 cases (Roundup)
  3. 14 cases x 20 tumblers / case = 280 tumblers
  4. 280 tumblers x $30 / tumbler = $8,400 retail
  5. $8,400 x 45% profit = $3,780 profit
