Selling discount cards is a fast and convenient way for groups to raise funds. Buyers like them because they can save money at their favorite stores and restaurants for a year.

You may be interested in selling cards but may not be entirely sure if this is a good fit for your group, or you might still have some unanswered questions before deciding on your fundraiser.

Common Questions

Who secures the merchants on our card?
We do.

How many merchants are on the card?
There's a limit of 12 merchants on each card.

What types of merchants are typically on our cards?
We contract with local, regional, and national merchants around the country.

What merchants do you recommend for our card?
Since you know your area, we'll contact merchants you feel will work best. To get 12 merchants on the back of your card, we ask that you provide at least 36 businesses. Occasionally, we may need to contact additional merchants.

We recommend you select well-known businesses. Eating establishments make up about 80% of a typical card.

How do you ensure that the merchants will honor the discounts?
Once a merchant agrees to be on your card, they must sign an agreement stating they'll honor the discount. Once completed, we'll send the merchant a copy of the finished card so they can forward it to their employees.

How do the merchants benefit from being on our card?
There's no cost to the merchants for being on your card. They receive free advertising, valuable publicity, and increased foot traffic.

What types of offers are on the card?
We suggest merchants provide a buy one get one free offer, a percentage off, or a dollar discount. Ultimately, it's up to the merchant to decide what offer works best for them.

Will the cards be valid at multiple locations?
Cards are only valid at the addresses listed on the back of the card.

Are we able to see the card before it goes to print?
Once we've completed your card, you'll receive a proof to review and approve. This allows you to check your design, grammar, and spelling. If necessary, businesses can be removed, but no new ones can be added.

What is the quality of the card?
All cards are produced to the following standards:

  • Full layout front & back
  • Typesetting front & back
  • Image placement
  • 30 mil plastic (credit card thickness)
  • Four color prints on both sides of the card
  • 3.375" x 2.125" (credit card size)
  • All colors are available except royal blue

Can you print our logo on the front of the card?
Yes, you'll be able to upload your image. We'll design the front of your card to include your organization's name, logo, and other relevant information.

Do the cards expire?
Yes, your cards will expire on the first day of the 13th month after you receive them. For example, if you receive your cards in September, they'll expire on October 1st of the following year. Your expiration date will be placed on your card.

How often can we use the card?
The merchants on your card will honor their discounts once a day until the card expires. Cards are non-transferable and aren't valid with any other coupons, discounts, offers, or promotions on alcohol, tax, or tip.

What if we want to sell the card for more than $10?
We'll put whatever price you want on your card; however, we don't recommend selling it for over $20.

Earnings depend on the size of your group and the number of cards each participant sells.

We offer volume discounts based on the number of cards ordered.

Ordering & Shipping

How long will it take to receive our order?
You'll receive your cards in about 4-6 weeks.

How do we pay for our order?
Payment options include credit card, purchase order, signing an agreement, or paying by check.

What is the minimum number of cards that can be ordered?
The minimum order is 250 cards.

Can we reorder?
Yes, additional cards can be reordered at the same rate as your initial order. The minimum reorder quantity is 100 cards. Printing usually requires 3-5 business days, not including the time required to ship your order.

Do you take back returns?
Since the cards are personalized for your organization, we don't take back unsold cards.

Do we have to pay for shipping?
No, shipping is free of charge. Shipping on reorders also free.
