How do we pay?
Since the product is ordered upfront, you have the following payment options:
- Purchase order: If you're a public school, you can order without paying up front. A purchase order is a legally binding document between your group and us. Payment is due within 15 days of receipt of the product, giving you time to collect enough money to pay your bill. You then keep the rest as profit.
- Credit card: We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.
- Direct Deposit: You must provide your bank routing and account numbers. We will send you a form via a secure, encrypted email to complete, sign, and return. Contact us

How long is the fundraiser?

How much should I order?
The size of your order depends on the number of participants in your group and how many gummy bears you want them to sell. Since $2 Gummy Bears come with four inner carriers in a case, consider issuing one carrier to each seller.

Do you take back unsold products?
We do not accept returns. We aim to maintain the same high level of product freshness for every customer. The USDA also has stringent guidelines that we must adhere to.
TIP: Consider issuing unsold gummy bears to participants who volunteer to sell them in exchange for a portion of the profit. This way, you will maximize your profits.
Can participants earn prizes?

What is the size of a gummy bear bag?
Gummy bear bags are 2.85 oz.
How long do gummy bears stay fresh?
$2 Gummy bears can remain fresh for 6-12 months if kept in their original, unopened packaging and stored in a cool, dry place. Once the bag is opened, consuming them within 7-10 days is best for optimal flavor and texture, though if resealed properly, they can last longer. To determine the actual expiration date, gummy bears have a Lot Code that indicates when they were produced. The Lot Code is found both on the white product label on the master case and also in the white box on the back of every wrapper.
To determine the production date, if the Lot Code is 2G02129A, for example, the first number represents the second decade (2020-2029). The ‘G’ represents the year, which is 2026 (A is 2020, B is 2021, C is 2022, and so on). The ‘021’ is the day on the Julian Date Calendar, which is January 21. The remainder of the code represents internal information, such as the resource (machine) and sequence numbering. So, in our example, the lot code indicates that the candy bar was produced on January 21, 2026, and is good through July 21, 2027 (18 months later).

- 62 participants x 1 carrier/participant = 62 carriers
- 62 carriers x 30 gummy bear bags/carrier = 1,860 gummy bear bags
- 1,860 gummy bear bags x $2.00/gummy bear = $3,720 gross sales
- $3,720 x 45% profit = $1,674 profit
