Things went great. No issues and no one said they are missing any items. Delivery was great. Truck backed in, unloaded and was gone in 15 minutes. All packages were marked clearly and loved the BIG printed names on each. It was great working with you and hope to do again next fall.

Delivery actually came about a full week ahead of what I had initially estimated, so it made it easy to distribute the cups to my players in time for them to give to their customers.

There was a hiccup with the shipping costs which costs us more in the long run. Supply chain issues tried to stop this fundraiser but Clay helped navigate all challenges.

We sold jelly beans and we had a great turn out. Everything went great. We were very pleased with our outcome. We reached our goal to purchase t-shirts and had money leftover. Thanks for being patient and answering all my questions! Next time should go much smoother since we will know better how it all works.

I don't think BFI could have handled this situation better. There were never any rosy promises, but they were able to get us out of the penalty for being under our goal with the cookie company. I guess somebody ate this cost somewhere. I will definitely consider BFI again, hopefully under better circumstances next time.

It went very well. We did have a couple of issues with parents turning in the order forms (not being able to read the item number) but other than that it went great. It was our first year so we did learn as we went. Next year we will know exactly what to do.

Group of Middle School StudentsHow Does Catalog Fundraising Work?

With catalog fundraisers, your group collects the money upfront before receiving orders, so there's no wasted time chasing payments later. Each fundraising brochure is designed to make selling simple and profitable.

Use our built-in Calculate Your Profit tool on every page to see potential earnings. Just enter your group size and seller item goal, and you'll instantly know the profit margins.

Before your brochure sale, every participant receives a catalog, order form, and money collection envelope. They'll show the catalog to family, friends, and neighbors for about two weeks. After that, you'll send us the completed order forms, and we'll process them quickly.

Your profit is the difference between what you collect and your invoice balance, making catalog fundraising one of the simplest ways to raise money. We'll also help you schedule and coordinate the delivery date for your fundraiser catalog order.

Family Viewing Fundraising BrochureCatalog Fundraiser Suggestions & Selling Tips

  • Host a kickoff meeting to outline goals, the sales process, and deadlines for orders and payments.
  • Always enforce safety: avoid stranger sales. Encourage parents to share the fundraising brochure at workplaces.
  • Motivate sellers with daily item goals and progress tracking.
  • Emphasize storytelling. Sellers should share who they represent and why they're fundraising.
  • Keep materials ready: catalog, order form, collection envelope, and pen.
  • Boost confidence by reviewing the catalog beforehand—participants should be able to highlight items.
  • Consider using fundraising leaflet ideas, such as attaching mini flyers or slips to catalogs, to serve as reminders to friends and family.
More Brochure Fundraiser Ideas

Brochure sales offer plenty of options and can thus yield great results. Showing a catalog to family and friends allows you to share your cause. Yet engaging your community can be intimidating.

But with our brochures and the proper techniques, you will likely hit your sales goals! One of our favorites is cookie dough, a tried and true classic brochure fundraiser. Or, if it’s autumn, try a pie brochure. Gourmet Pies offers a traditional Pumpkin Pie that would be easy to slice up for Thanksgiving dinner.

Another option for traditional catalog sales is holiday gift wrap. Almost everyone will need it. So position this essential item alongside a compelling mission for your fundraiser. People will be thankful you saved them a trip to a crowded department store.

Pro Tip: Don't forget to let people know the gift wrap is double-sided! This is a huge value-add, and customers will appreciate getting more for their money.

The major benefit of doing a brochure fundraiser is that you won’t ever risk buying more than you can sell. This means that no matter the results, you will always be profitable. Brochure sales ensure no extra charges for needless products.

With fundraisers like candy bars or pretzel rods, kids may lose an item or two, resulting in an imbalanced spreadsheet of purchases. Selling out of a catalog eliminates this risk. Customers place orders on an order form when selling out of a brochure.

Additionally, catalog fundraiser sales are generally face-to-face, with ample opportunity to converse. This benefit can make the entire process very personable. Delivering products is a great way to remind people why they supported you in the first place. And it’s a surefire way to connect with people in your community!

Building these relationships can create a sustainable customer base. Friends and family can support you year after year in reaching your sales goals. Be sure to thank customers again once they receive their product.

Check out some of our favorites if you plan to have a brochure fundraiser. Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough and Poppin Popcorn are very popular. Diversity, high-quality items, and appealing price points make these sales appealing.

Don’t forget to select a prize program to complement your brochure. Students will be extra motivated to sell if an appealing prize or fun experience awaits them at the end! Plus, prizes are free to your group.

When it comes to finding fundraising catalogs for schools or examples of brochures for schools, we provide the highest quality options, proven incentive programs, and unmatched customer service.
